Stocks to watch today: Markets are expected to open on a happy note on Friday amid positive global sentiment ahead of the Jackson Hole symposium. As of 07:40, the SGX Nifty Futures was reading 17,685 levels, indicating a gap of around 163 points on the Nifty50.

Overall, investors remained fearless in US markets despite fears of rising rates. The Dow Jones climbed 300 points to close 0.9%, while the S&P 500 and NASDAQ Composite rose 1.4 and 1.6%, respectively.
