The Friends’ mission is to support the library through the purchase of books, films, music, visual arts, furniture and electronic equipment by raising funds through daily and annual book sales, d ‘special events, planned giving, annual membership fees and grants. The Friends is also a registered charity with AmazonSmile.com, which allows, if selected during online purchase, that a percentage of purchases made go to the Friends of Palm Springs library! The Friends also defend and raise awareness of the library as a link between the library and the community and its elected officials. The Friends support programs that encourage reading, culture and the arts, as well as volunteer activities to support our larger community.
