Franklin County health profile discussion scheduled for November 3

FARMINGTON – Franklin Community Health Network and Franklin County community partners and stakeholders plan to host a Maine Shared Community Health Needs Assessment Forum to discuss Franklin County’s health profile.

The forum will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, November 3, virtually via Zoom.

The Franklin County Health Profile contains over 200 data points that describe health outcomes, health-related behaviors, access and quality of health care, as well as social, community and that affect health.

Organizers want to hear from the public on their thoughts on Franklin County’s health and, with their neighbors, identify key health issues, populations most at risk, as well as the resources needed and gaps to address concerns. This feedback will be used as a guide to create hospital-specific health improvement plans next spring.

“We want to open the door to discussions about how we can work together to make our communities the healthiest in America,” said Barbara Sergio, COO of the Franklin County Health Network. “We want community members to share their views on what they consider to be our biggest health concerns.”

To register for the forum, register online at jsi.zoom.us/meeting/register/tJcod-6hqDIjGtSVaaPIaXrXT1mfJ7UPDj62.
